Robot 2 Film I 2.0 Film l Robot 2 Movie Release Date: Robot 2 film is an upcoming indian science fiction film starring Superstar Rajnikanth as the lead role directed by S. Shankar,  co-written by B. Jeyamohan, and produced by Subaskaran Allirajah. The music of the film is composed by A.R Rahman. 2.0 film is the sequel of robot 1 movie which was released on 1 october, 2010. This movie was a Blockbuster of that year.

Robot 1 was also directed by S. Shankar. The mega success of Robot 1 forced S.Shankar to direct 2nd part of that film. Rajnikanth and Aishwarya Rai are in the main lead of Robot 1. 

Robot 2 also feathers Akshay Kumar and Amy Jackson. Akshay Kumar is playing negative character in this fillm. Amy Jackson is the heroin of the film. The budget of 2.0 is far more than Robot 1. Robot 1 was made on a budget worth Rs.132 crore but Robot 2 is made on a budget of around 450 crore.
